The diagonal of a square has a measure of 12. How long is each side of the square?

Diagonal of a square is Side X root 2... 

Diagonal = 12 , We need to find the length of side. 

There fore , Length of side = diagonal length/ root 2 

= 12/ 1.414 (root 2 is 1.41.4) 

= 8.48
