using Boyles law: which shows the relationship between pressure and volume, when temperature Is kept constant

P1V1 = P2V2

2 x 7.2 = 0.5 x V2

14.4 = 0.5 x V2

V2 = 14.4/0.5 = 28.8 L

Hence the new size of the balloon in litres is 28.8
