Acute angles are less than 90 degrees while an obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees.

The difference is that an acute angle is smaller than a obtuse angle. And an obtuse angle is bigger than an acute angle. An example of an acute is 80 degrees and an example of an obtuse angle is 120 degrees. HOPE THIS HELPED :)
