The period of a wave can be calculated with the formula below:

[tex]T=\frac{1}{f}[/tex]

Where f is the frequency.

If the frequency is 2 Hz, the period is:

[tex]T=\frac{1}{2}=0.5\text{ s}[/tex]

Therefore the period is 0.5 seconds.
