(-5, 2 ) means x = -5 and y = 2

so answer is point D

Point D is at (-5,2) as the first coordinate is on the "X" axis, and the second coordinate is on the "Y" axis. You would move down the x axis first going 5 to the left, as that would be negative. Then two up as that is positive on the y axis! Hope this Helps!
