x = [-b +- \sqrt{ b^{2} -4ac } ]/ 2a[/tex]

a= -7
b=6
c=3
x = [-6 +- \sqrt{ 6^{2} -4(-7)(3) } ]/ 2(-7)
x = [-6 +- \sqrt{ 36 +84 } ]/ -14
x = (3/7 ) +( sqrt(30)/7)
x = (3/7 ) -( sqrt(30)/7)
